Metal Boutique Architectural Metalwork

We are a one stop shop for concept, design, engineering and build of any metal design project. We are located in the city of Dallas, but we crate and ship anywhere in the United States.

Our shop is an industry partner with ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and with the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association). We have done work for a wide variety of high end clients all over the country. Those include Custom home builders, architects, interior designers, design build firms, custom cabinetry companies, Design showrooms and even designers with HGTV.

Nathan Lane – Founder/Artisan

Nathan is the heart and soul of Metal Boutique. He started his custom design metal fabrication journey at a young age. He developed a diverse skillset in welding, creative sheet metal work, machining and mechanical engineering that serves him well in creating visually pleasing, yet structurally sound pieces of work. One long time client described Nathan as “a visionary, mad genius and all around bad-ass!!!”. We call him our “metal mad scientist”. But, in Nathan’s words, he says “I guess I’ve just always built things. Even as a child, I would take apart my toys to see how they worked”. If you can dream it, he can build it.

Our Process

First we consult on your inspirations, concepts and visions for the project. We will then engineer a build and finish plan that marries a visually pleasing piece with structural soundness and ease of installation. Once you are happy and place your 60% down payment, we will begin preparing a final CAD sketch for your approval and signature. After signature, materials will be ordered and parts will be cut to begin your fabrication process. We usually have about an 8-10 week lead time on most projects. We are a build and ship shop and do not do installations.

What Makes Us Different

There are many “welding shops” and metal fabrication shops out there. Most of them are structural or job shops that do anything and everything. We have found a “niche” in the high end, luxury metal arena. We work in all metals, especially stainless steel and brass, but we specialize in beautiful finishing as well. If you need something really spectacular or you are in the design industry and need someone to convey your visions on a little higher level…we are that special metal fabricator.
